Research Summary

Before joining MIT Sloan, Professor Lu was an assistant professor of operations management at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He was also a visiting faculty researcher at Google Research. Lu earned a Ph.D. in mathematics and operations research from MIT.

Lu’s research includes solving large-scale optimization problems that appear in data science, machine learning, and operations research.
