James O’Donnell

Bio
James O’Donnell joined the Office of Corporate Relations (OCR) as a Communications Specialist in March 2024.
O’Donnell brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role, having honed his skills over several years in the dynamic field of public relations. Prior to joining MIT, O’Donnell transitioned from his most recent position as a Senior Account Executive at 360PR+, where he successfully managed promotional campaigns for a diverse range of clients. His responsibilities encompassed a multifaceted approach, including crafting compelling PR materials, pitching media contacts, devising innovative social media strategies, coordinating impactful events, and conducting comprehensive media analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Before his tenure at 360PR+, O’Donnell served as an Account Executive at Matter Communications and as an Account Coordinator at Regan Communications Group, further refining his ability to navigate complex communications landscapes. O'Donnell received his B.A. in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island, which equipped him with robust practical experience in the field. With a proven track record of delivering results and a commitment to excellence, O’Donnell is poised to make significant contributions to the communications endeavors of Corporate Relations.
