Although the eye, its movements, and how it works has been studied since the late 1800s, studies involving eye tracking have been primarily constrained to stationary applications, due to limitations in computational power as well as the bulky size of the equipment. Recent advances in hardware technology have made it possible to use eye-tracking technology in a mobile context. Ogle is a platform for compact, mobile eye tracking for everyday use applications.
