Design of six-axis, high-speed fixturing and alignment for nanoinstrumentation and nanomanufacturing. Nano-scale science and engineering require the ability to rapidly align components and scan/interogate them. At present this is done by iterative "tweaking" alignment and/or luck. This research aims to create the electromechanical systems that automate the inspection, alignment and scanning of nano-scale experiments/features/products.
